I knew at a young age that something in the creative world is what I wanted to pursue. My creativity was always nurtured through my childhood and I owe a lot of that to my dad who taught me to follow my dreams and never give up. I took the road to becoming a professional photographer but once 2020 came around and photoshoots were tricky to book, I found another creative outlet for myself. I began painting and drawing in sketchbooks, sharing them on Instagram just for fun. I didn’t expect anything to come from it, I truly just loved coming up with characters and little worlds in the form of drawing. But apparently my work resonated with people and I started getting hit up for commissions and brand collaborations. From there I thought I’d give creating work on a larger scale a try. I started experimenting with acrylic paints and challenging myself to work with bigger and bigger canvases. I’ve been lucky enough since then to host a couple art shows in Thali Surf Shop in Laguna Beach as well as Daydream in Costa Mesa.

I pull inspiration from all around me. Whether it’s an experience I have, an art book, a song lyric, a vision through meditation. Recently, searching antique shops for furniture and Knick knacks has been a big source of inspiration. 

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My sister and I used to go out on photoshoots together when we were younger. Whether it was taking photos of each other or what we saw around us. From there I got into high school and started working with film too. Once I graduated I shot as much as I could. I found a passion for capturing portraits and environments as well as fashion. Honestly now, this work feels like the grown up version of dress up and playing pretend.
