The 8th annual Stance NBA All Star Spades tournament went down in Indianapolis and as always, was hosted by longtime Stance Punk & Poet Dwyane Wade. It was only fitting that DWade emerged victorious for the first time since starting the tournament 10 years ago. The backdrop of the NBA Player Association's sponsored event was nothing short of good vibes, complete with an open bar, late night food, and an electric atmosphere that had guests vying for the prestigious title of spades champion or vibing to the beats of DJ Louivee. The stars were out as usual with Donovan Mitchell, Ronnie 2k, Jesser, Kris Longon, Jordyn Woods, Taylor Rooks, Andre Iguodala, Metta World Peace, Scoot Henderson, Candace Parker all participating in the event to name a few.
A creative highlight of the evening was the live screen printing of limited edition Stance Spades tournament tees, a special touch that added an extra layer of exclusivity to the event. As if that wasn't enough, guests were also treated to Stance socks, and complimentary Timberland boots making the event a true slam dunk for everyone in attendance.
The final table featured Dwyane Wade playing with his brother Demetrius competing against Taylor Rooks and her partner Asia Brown. The crowd gathered as the teams intensely battled for the prestigious Stance Spades trophy. Dwyane and Demetrius ultimately prevailed and Dwyane addressed the audience by stating this championship meant as much as all of his other championships. Talk your talk DWade! Congrats on the big win that capped another epic Stance Spades tournament at NBA All-Star weekend.
